Here’s a basic WoW strategy guide.
Always play rested. Rested characters get twice as many experience points XP from defeating monsters. By building up your character’s rested bonus over a few of days, you could potentially carry out several quests and collect the double XP bonus the whole time.
Stick to green quests. They’re relatively easy and offer the biggest bang for the buck. By doing quests higher than green you’ll find that you will die several times in the process if you are attacked by multiple monsters at a time. Your armor will incur more damage, and that means more time wasted while you dash back to the closest town to repair.
When leveling up, stay away from instances. Running instances does not get you the same amount of experience as simply running quests. It’s tempting for some of the loot, but it’s slower.
Learn to cluster your quests. Grab all the offered quests you can find when first entering a zone. Try to group quests together that end in the same place. Just have a look at the quest details. Going back and forth between zones for quests is a drag and this approach will save you a lot a time and irritation.
